Summary

As a Service Technician at Vaughan Pools, Inc., you will provide on-site maintenance, diagnostics, repair, and customer support for swimming pool systems throughout central Missouri. This role requires strong technical ability, professionalism when working with customers, and a willingness to learn all aspects of the pool service trade. This is a full-time, year-round position with opportunities for growth within the company.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations throughout central Missouri to perform scheduled pool service and maintenance.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair pool equipment and systems including pumps, filters, heaters, and related components.
• Perform pool openings, closings, cleanings, and routine maintenance services.
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding work performed, findings, and recommended next steps.
• Complete service documentation, work orders, and reports accurately and in a timely manner.
• Safely operate company vehicles, tools, and equipment while maintaining an organized work environment.
• Follow all company safety procedures and operational guidelines.
• Coordinate with team members and office staff regarding schedules, parts, and customer needs.
• Continuously develop technical knowledge and skills within the pool service industry.

Qualifications

• Strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn all aspects of pool service and maintenance.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently while managing a daily service schedule.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Current commercial driver’s license required.
• Clean driving record and ability to provide a Missouri Driver’s Record.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Previous service, mechanical, or trade experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical job duties.

Job Type: Full-time – 40 hours/week plus overtime during peak pool season

Pay:  Competitive pay structure – varies on experience
