Summary

As a Sales Associate at Vaughan Pools, Inc., you will be integral to our retail operations, engaging with customers to provide exceptional service and expert advice on our swimming pool products. This role is essential in helping customers make informed purchasing decisions while contributing to the overall success of our business.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting products that meet their needs and preferences.
• Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits.
• Maintain stock levels and ensure the sales floor is organized and appealing.
• Handle phone inquiries with professionalism and provide accurate information.
• Process sales transactions efficiently using the cash register.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Support promotional efforts and assist in merchandising displays.
• Utilize basic math skills for pricing and inventory management.
• Daily bookkeeping deposits and accounts receivable management.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sales or retail environments, preferably within the pool or home improvement industry.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on building relationships.
• Ability to effectively demonstrate products and communicate their value.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management.
• Familiarity with cash register operations is a plus.
• Good phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries professionally.
• Experience with stock management and retail math is beneficial but not required.

Job Type: Full-time – 40 hours/week with occasional overtime
